Terms of Service

Updated November 3, 2026

1. Website and service requests

These terms concern laappliancerepairpros.repair and appliance-service requests to LA Appliance Repair Pros ("we," "us"). A request is not a confirmed appointment. We confirm the appliance, model, service address, availability and visit arrangements directly. Brand names describe equipment we service and do not imply manufacturer affiliation.

The request form records your information and service-call agreement; it does not collect payment or authorize repair work. You must be at least 18 and authorized to arrange service for the appliance and property.

2. The service call and diagnosis

The online booking agreement states $85 for the visit and diagnosis of the first appliance, plus $45 for each additional appliance inspected during that visit. For example, inspection of two appliances totals $130 before any separately authorized repair. The service-call quote and any other applicable charge must be disclosed before the visit; a diagnostic charge must be disclosed in writing before diagnostic work begins.

A diagnostic visit does not include approval of a repair. If you decline repair, a diagnostic or service-call charge previously authorized may still be due. A diagnostic-fee credit or discount is governed by its disclosed eligibility conditions and the job documents; see current offers. A cancellation, travel or other fee is not imposed merely by this website: it must be disclosed and agreed where applicable.

3. Written estimates and your approval

Before repairs begin, you must receive a written estimate identifying the proposed work and expected total, including parts, labor and applicable service-call or transportation charges. Taxes and other charges must be disclosed as applicable. You may accept or decline the proposal.

Your authorization is required before repairs or an increase to an approved estimate. Additional work or charges require further approval; telephone or electronic approval must be documented as required by California law. Agreement to a diagnostic fee does not authorize unspecified repairs or an unspecified repair price.

The written estimate and invoice record the particular job, payment arrangements and any applicable offer. They do not override consumer protections that cannot legally be waived.

4. Scheduling, changes and safe access

Contact us promptly to cancel or reschedule. Identify access restrictions, parking requirements, installation conditions and an authorized on-site contact before the visit. Timing depends on coverage, access, model and parts availability; an inquiry does not guarantee same-day service or a completed repair.

Service may be declined or paused for unsafe conditions, lack of access or authorization, abusive conduct, or work outside the agreed scope. This does not remove obligations relating to authorized charges, property in our custody or applicable law. For fire, a suspected gas leak or another immediate hazard, leave the danger area and contact emergency services or the utility.

5. Repair records, replaced parts and warranties

You are entitled to the repair documentation required by California law, including an itemized invoice and, if an appliance is removed for repair, the required receipt or claim check. Required job documents must identify the service dealer and applicable registration information. Keep estimates, authorizations and invoices.

For covered appliance repairs, replaced parts must be returned unless a lawful exception applies, such as unsafe parts, exchange parts or your waiver. Discuss their handling before work begins.

Any express parts or labor guarantee must state its coverage, duration and who will honor it in writing. Manufacturer terms and applicable statutory or implied warranty rights also remain relevant. No website statement or job document excludes a warranty or remedy that California law does not permit to be excluded.

6. Consumer rights and responsibility for loss

Nothing in these terms waives mandatory consumer rights, limits a remedy that cannot lawfully be limited, or excuses fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence or unlawful conduct. Responsibility for a repair, injury or property damage is determined under applicable law and the facts of the job. These terms do not impose a blanket liability cap equal to the repair price.

California appliance-repair requirements and complaint options are explained in the Bureau of Household Goods and Services consumer guide. You may contact the regulator or exercise an available legal remedy without first giving up those rights through this website.

7. California law, changes and contact

California law and applicable federal law govern service performed in California. Court proceedings are subject to applicable jurisdiction and venue rules, including available small-claims procedures. These website terms do not require arbitration or waive access to a regulator.

The date above identifies this version. Revisions apply prospectively and do not retroactively change an authorized fee, repair agreement or accrued right without any agreement required by law. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for information practices.
