Cookie Policy
Updated November 3, 2026
1. Scope, cookies and similar technologies
This policy concerns laappliancerepairpros.repair, operated under the LA Appliance Repair Pros name, and supplements our Privacy Policy. Cookies are browser records sent with permitted later requests. Session and persistent cookies have different lifetimes. Local storage, session storage, verification tokens and measurement requests are related technologies, but are not all cookies.
The current site does not save unfinished requests or preferences in first-party local storage or session storage and has no customer login or shopping cart. A visit may set no cookies, while a different browser or security check may behave differently. This is not a promise that every request is cookie-free.
2. Cloudflare delivery and form security
Cloudflare handles website delivery and protection. Turnstile and challenge scripts process network and browser signals; booking and contact forms use verification tokens to prevent automated abuse. A token is not itself a cookie. Cloudflare may also process signals to improve its security services, as explained in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Depending on enabled features and the check triggered, security cookies can include:
- cf_clearance: records a successful security check where clearance is used; lifetime depends on the challenge configuration.
- __cf_bm: supports bot detection where the relevant feature is enabled; Cloudflare documents expiry after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity.
- _cfuvid: distinguishes visitors sharing an IP address where the relevant rate-limiting feature is enabled.
These are conditional provider examples, not a claim that all are set here. Your browser's site-data panel shows actual cookies, domains and expiry times. See Cloudflare's cookie documentation. Blocking security features may prevent form verification; phone and email are alternative ways to inquire.
3. Performance measurement and advertising
Published pages load a Cloudflare Web Analytics / real-user monitoring beacon to measure visits and loading performance. Cloudflare's delivery network can insert it separately from the website source.
Cloudflare describes this beacon as not using browser cookies, local storage or session storage. This still involves transmission of page and performance information to Cloudflare. Its RUM documentation explains collection and processing.
The current published configuration does not enable Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tags, Meta advertising pixels or Ahrefs Analytics. This website does not use advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. Personal information is not sold. Future uses must be reflected in notices and accompanied by choices or consent where legally required.
4. Address suggestions and submitted requests
Geoapify supplies suggestions as you type a service address. Address text and technical request information can be sent before you submit the form. This lookup is distinct from a cookie and does not save an unfinished booking in browser storage. See the Geoapify Privacy Policy.
A submitted service request includes page and referring URLs, browser information, timestamps and campaign values already in the URL, such as UTM tags, gclid or fbclid. Reading a URL value does not itself set an advertising cookie. Request retention is separate from cookie expiry; deleting cookies does not delete a submitted request. See information collected and retention criteria.
5. Browser controls, Do Not Track and GPC
Browser privacy or site-data controls let you inspect, remove or restrict cookies and storage. Tracking protection or a content blocker can restrict measurement requests; blocking cookies alone may not block a cookie-free beacon. Restricting Cloudflare security features can interfere with forms or cause another challenge.
The site currently has no on-page cookie preference switch. Browsing, scrolling or agreeing to a service-call fee is not blanket consent to optional tracking.
Our scripts do not change behavior in response to ordinary Do Not Track signals. Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a separate opt-out preference signal recognized under the CCPA where applicable. The current website has no sale or behavioral-advertising operation to disable and does not change security checks based on GPC. Our Privacy Policy explains these signals and privacy-request methods. There is no need to clear cookies to contact us.
6. Changes and questions
The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be disclosed through an appropriate website or direct notice, with additional notice or consent where required. Provider settings may change which security cookies appear; published provider information and your browser's actual records should be considered together.
