Privacy Policy
Updated November 3, 2026
1. Scope and who to contact
This policy describes information collected through laappliancerepairpros.repair and related service inquiries to LA Appliance Repair Pros ("we," "us"), serving Los Angeles, California and the listed service areas. Email [email protected] or call +1 818 308 3343 for privacy questions or requests.
Below are the collection categories, purposes, recipients and retention criteria. You may use phone or email instead of the service form or its address-suggestion feature. Our Cookie Policy explains browser storage and measurement.
2. Information collected and its sources
- Contact and service-location information: name, telephone number, email, service address, unit, city and ZIP code supplied by you in a form or inquiry.
- Service-request information: appliance types and brands, number of appliances, symptoms or model details you include, preferred date and time, correspondence and service history.
- Agreement records: the displayed service-call amount, agreement text, checkbox state and time of agreement submitted with a booking request.
- Internet and attribution information: page and referring URLs, browser information, submission time and campaign values already present in the URL, such as UTM tags, gclid or fbclid. Reading these values does not itself create an advertising cookie.
- Connection and security information: IP address, requested pages, browser or device signals and security-check results processed by hosting, Cloudflare and form-security services. Sources include your browser, network requests and those providers.
The form does not request payment-card numbers, government identifiers, health information, account passwords or device GPS location. Do not include unrelated sensitive information in a message. A service address you supply identifies the proposed visit location.
3. Why information is used
Contact, location and appliance details allow us to answer an inquiry, check coverage, coordinate a visit and handle follow-up. Agreement and service records document authorized charges and help resolve questions or disputes. Technical and attribution information supports request routing, understanding how an inquiry reached us, reliability and abuse prevention. Information may also be used to meet legal obligations.
A telephone number or email supplied for an inquiry may be used to respond about it, confirm details or provide service-related updates. The service-call checkbox is not consent to unrelated advertising calls or marketing texts. Contact us to correct your contact information or change how we respond. Carrier charges may apply to calls or texts.
4. Recipients and website providers
Relevant information may be disclosed to people handling your inquiry or service and to hosting, communications and appointment-processing providers needed to receive and manage it. Contact and booking forms send their fields to their configured request receivers. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary for a legal claim or to protect people and systems.
- Cloudflare: delivers and protects the website. Turnstile and challenge services process connection and browser signals for security; form submissions include a verification token. Public pages also load a performance-measurement beacon. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- Geoapify: provides booking-address suggestions. Once enough characters are entered, address text and normal request metadata are sent to Geoapify before you submit the form. Its Privacy Policy describes API processing. Calling or emailing us avoids this feature.
Providers may process information outside California or the United States, subject to applicable requirements. Provider operational logs have their own retention arrangements. Following a link to an independent website brings you under that website's practices.
5. No sale of personal information; tracking signals
We do not sell personal information. The current website does not use advertising pixels to share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Its published configuration does not load Google Analytics, Google Ads tags, Meta pixels or Ahrefs Analytics. Necessary service disclosures are described above; a cookie-free page can still send technical information to a provider.
Our website scripts do not change behavior in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. Global Privacy Control (GPC) is different: where the CCPA applies, it is a valid request to opt out of sale or sharing. The current website has no sale or behavioral-advertising operation for GPC to switch off, and no GPC-dependent cookie switch. Security checks and service-request processing are not disabled by these signals. You can also contact us about an opt-out or privacy concern.
6. Review, correction and California privacy requests
Ask to review, correct or delete information associated with your inquiry by emailing [email protected] or calling +1 818 308 3343. Describe your request and give enough information to locate the inquiry, such as the contact details used and an approximate service date. No account is required.
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, applies to our business and your information, rights include access and knowledge about information, correction, deletion subject to exceptions, portability where required, opting out of sale or sharing, limiting certain sensitive-information uses where applicable, and equal treatment. See California Privacy Protection Agency guidance. Coverage depends on statutory criteria; California residency does not by itself make every business subject to every CCPA requirement.
For access, correction or deletion, information may be matched with existing records to verify a request and prevent unauthorized disclosure. Do not email passwords or identity-document images without a specific secure verification arrangement. An authorized agent may act for you with evidence of authority; direct verification or confirmation may be required where legally permitted. An opt-out request does not require the identity verification used for access or deletion.
For CCPA-covered requests, receipt is acknowledged within 10 business days and access, correction or deletion requests are answered within 45 calendar days of receipt. If permitted and necessary, an additional 45 calendar days may be used with notice and reasons during the initial period. Applicable sale/sharing opt-outs and sensitive-information limitation requests are handled as soon as feasible, within 15 business days. We explain applicable exceptions or inability to verify. No unlawful discrimination is permitted for exercising a privacy right.
Where California's Shine the Light law applies, you may also email a request about disclosures to other businesses for their own direct marketing during the preceding calendar year. Identify it as a California privacy request so it can be directed appropriately.
Privacy concerns may also be raised with the California Privacy Protection Agency or California Attorney General. These options do not replace your ability to contact us directly.
7. Retention criteria and security
Retention depends on category and purpose: contact and appliance details support the inquiry and service follow-up; agreements and service records may be needed for accounting, warranties, disputes or legally required records; technical logs may be needed for operation and security. Information should not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes or legal obligations. A deletion request may be subject to a documented legal or service-record exception.
Cookie expiry does not determine retention of a submitted request. Clearing browser storage does not delete information already received by us or a provider. Contact us about retention of a particular record or to request deletion.
The website uses HTTPS and Cloudflare security services. Safeguards must remain appropriate to the information and its use; no website, email or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected misuse using the contacts above.
8. Children and policy changes
This service-request website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information so it can be reviewed and handled as required by law.
The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be identified through an appropriate prominent website notice or direct notice where appropriate, with any additional notice or consent required by law. Posting an updated policy or continued browsing does not itself provide consent to a new use that legally requires it.
